La Abejera is a unique vineyard located at an altitude of more than 700 metres, difficult to get in and condemned to abandonment.

Vinification & aging: Cold soak (low-temp maceration before fermentation) Low-temperature fermentation in concrete tanks. Aged for 12 months in 400-litre French oak barrels. Fined for 15 months in bottle.
Soil: Erosion slopes on clays, silts and sandstones. Extremely low yields
Production: 3.350 bot.
Did you know that. Tempranillo, along with carignan, barbés and grenache constituted the essence of Navarre’s viticulture (Jose Antonio Valcarcel, “Agricultura General y gobierno de la casa de campo”. 1791). Tempranillo is the main grape in Navarre.
